There were some unfortunate formatting glitches introduced into the hydrology reference manual when converting the original MS Word manuscript to a 508-compliant PDF file (such as misaligned equation numbers, some blank pages, and awkward page breaks). There are two more reference manuals being prepared, one for hydraulics and another for water quality/LID. It supersedes the material in the older SWMM 4 manual. It provides details on the theory, algorithms and parameter values used for SWMM 5's meteorology, surface runoff, infiltration, groundwater, snowmelt, and RDII processes. The other is a Reference Manual for SWMM's hydrology routines. One is an updated User's Manual for SWMM 5.1. As has been alluded to in some recent posts, EPA has "silently" released two new SWMM 5 manuals to its SWMM web page
